A second basket of steaming-hot chips materializes; so does a set of chopsticks, for the sake of his own comfort. A folded bundle of clothing and a pair of sneakers pops up next to them. As he idly picks up the chopsticks and uses them to snag a chip from the basket, he examines the complex pattern of lacing up the front of the shoes.

"Perfect," he says, nodding approval, and pops the chip in his mouth with all intention of moving on to look at the rest of his new clothes.

Instead, he stops, eyes wide as he gets a good taste of the food.
